Nice tasty dessert. Some are very sweet but still good. Some sweetness just nice it hit the G-spot(good spot I mean) in the brain. Good for people who like dessert

I usually love this cafe but I want to be constructive about one aspect that's changed to my disappointment. I'll be honest. The lemon tart! I only ever buy the lemon tart ,it was perfection. But now it's been changed. But the new version is not nearly as nice as the old version. I couldn't taste any lemon this time, and I missed the fine biscuit crumb that used to surround the rectangular shape. I really want the old one back and more lemon in it please. The hot chocolates are as delicious as ever and the cafe is of course, first class! Just more lemon please!!

I really liked this place; it’s beautiful and the atmosphere is lovely. I also asked the server if she could please write "Happy Birthday" on my partner's plate, and she did—she even added a little candle. It was so sweet, and we were absolutely delighted. Excellent service—I love it!

My husband and I tried their Matilda Chocolate Cake! We’re huge dessert lovers and have explored our fair share of cakes, but this one beats everything we’ve ever had.

The chocolate is rich and dense without being overly sweet, while the cake itself is served warm, soft, and beautifully fluffy. It’s everything you could ever want in a chocolate cake!

A huge recommendation from us. Kudos to the chef for bringing this absolute masterpiece to Christchurch♥️♥️This cake alone is worth a visit!

I love cake more than the average person, and I can say without a doubt that Dhi Ferrari makes the best cakes and desserts in Christchurch.

Not only are they all beautiful to look at, they taste phenomenal! I think I have probably tried every type of cake they’ve ever made and never once have I been disappointed.

Also, the New York hot chocolate with the marshmallow around the rim is ridiculously good.

My bridesmaids booked in for the high tea yesterday for my hens party. We had a large group of 13 of us and we all left speaking so highly of how amazing the food and service we received. Despite being very busy, all our food arrived at the perfect time, our bottomless tea was topped up regularly, and the food was delicious. I am a very fussy eater and every single item in the high tea I loved so much. One of our party was gluten free and they were catered for and were able to partake in the full high tea without feeling like they were missing out on anything or getting shortchanged. We all left feeling very full and were able to take away anything we couldn't fit in, in a box to take home. The lovely man who served us was so organised and friendly and made the experience wonderful. He was so knowledgeable about the various teas they had to offer us. Dhi is insanely talented and I think this high tea is one of the best dining experiences ōtautahi has to offer!

First time in NZ and so glad we popped into Dhi Dessert!
The owner is super friendly and welcoming. Choosing was so hard because everything looked amazing, but the pudding, black and white chocolate brownie, and marshmallow cappuccino were all incredible!

My wife and I visited Dhi Ferrari today and ordered two long black, a mushroom & blue cheese quiche, and a flat white slice.

Located inside the Welder complex, the cafe has a wonderfully cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Arriving around 10:00 AM, it felt like the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy a leisurely brunch.

The coffee had a slightly brighter acidity than what we usually find at other cafes. Since we generally prefer bolder, bitter roasts, this was a pleasant surprise that broadened our appreciation for different coffee profiles.

The mushroom & blue cheese quiche was deeply satisfying—rich in cheese flavor and generously filled. As for the flat white slice, while the coffee flavor was subtle rather than intense, I really enjoyed how the dense, firm cream coated the palate, paired with a moist, coffee-soaked sponge that melted in the mouth.

The only downside was the parking. Street parking is extremely competitive, and the nearby paid options are quite pricey given the central city location. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great food, coffee, and ambiance.

I was SO excited to try Dhi Ferrari and oh my word it did not disappoint. We were visiting our son in Christchurch, so I ordered a selection of mini desserts to enjoy and what a treat those were. We all had our favourites (I found it hard to choose between the Lemon Tart & Pudim Caramel Flan though - they were both divine). All in all, the most wonderful treat and somewhere we will DEFINITELY come to again ❤️

I have been searching for a Brazilian cafe like this!! My husband and I had the best experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and a very authentic flavour. Just like in Brazil! Very friendly service. Excellent coffee. I hope this place stays forever. We will be new regulars!

We’ve tried the Thunder, Lemon Tart, Flat White Cake, Tiramisu Mini Cake, and Matilda. They were all so yummy!

Unexpectedly good Coffee and cake served. I will fully miss this cafe after back to my country.

We ordered the Nutella cake for my daughter’s Birthday, it was incredibly delicious, not at all dry or too sweet.
We will definitely be back for other cakes and would recommend for others
