I received great advice when I came to pick up the cake!

Have ordered cakes from here a few times and recommended it to friends who have also ordered. The cakes are always delicious and beautifully presented! Great range of flavours too. And convenient pick up options.

First time in NZ and so glad we popped into Dhi Dessert!
The owner is super friendly and welcoming. Choosing was so hard because everything looked amazing, but the pudding, black and white chocolate brownie, and marshmallow cappuccino were all incredible!
Super cozy vibe for a relaxing afternoon tea. 10/10 recommend!💗

My wife and I visited Dhi Ferrari today and ordered two long black, a mushroom & blue cheese quiche, and a flat white slice.

Located inside the Welder complex, the cafe has a wonderfully cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Arriving around 10:00 AM, it felt like the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy a leisurely brunch.

The coffee had a slightly brighter acidity than what we usually find at other cafes. Since we generally prefer bolder, bitter roasts, this was a pleasant surprise that broadened our appreciation for different coffee profiles.

The mushroom & blue cheese quiche was deeply satisfying—rich in cheese flavor and generously filled. As for the flat white slice, while the coffee flavor was subtle rather than intense, I really enjoyed how the dense, firm cream coated the palate, paired with a moist, coffee-soaked sponge that melted in the mouth.

The only downside was the parking. Street parking is extremely competitive, and the nearby paid options are quite pricey given the central city location. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great food, coffee, and ambiance.

I was SO excited to try Dhi Ferrari and oh my word it did not disappoint. We were visiting our son in Christchurch, so I ordered a selection of mini desserts to enjoy and what a treat those were. We all had our favourites (I found it hard to choose between the Lemon Tart & Pudim Caramel Flan though - they were both divine). All in all, the most wonderful treat and somewhere we will DEFINITELY come to again ❤️

I have been searching for a Brazilian cafe like this!! My husband and I had the best experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and a very authentic flavour. Just like in Brazil! Very friendly service. Excellent coffee. I hope this place stays forever. We will be new regulars!

The Brazilian carrot cake and the cheese breads are delicious. Amazing atmosphere with a great variety including vegetarian and very friendly staff.

We’ve tried the Thunder, Lemon Tart, Flat White Cake, Tiramisu Mini Cake, and Matilda. They were all so yummy!

Unexpectedly good Coffee and cake served. I will fully miss this cafe after back to my country.

We ordered the Nutella cake for my daughter’s Birthday, it was incredibly delicious, not at all dry or too sweet.
We will definitely be back for other cakes and would recommend for others

The cakes give that warm homely feeling that reminds you of something made with genuine love and care. Today using my own free will and no regrets I bought three slices from Dhi Ferrari Cakes the tres leches the Flate white cake and the chocolate cake and I sat in my car and tried each piece taking my time to enjoy every bite. Safe to say I have no regrets I earned it adulting is actually kind of fun sometimes

I travel to Christchurch several times a year to visit family and this is one place I always go whenever I am there. The cakes, desserts and drinks on offer are outstanding and never fail to disappoint! Highly recommend!

Guess you have to call first to see if they are actually open. Closed for private function. Wouldn’t have walked across town if there was a notice on the website

The high tea is one of the best in Chch

Hi Dhi - thank you for taking my late order for the beautiful lemonade cake! It was devoured so quickly, and my brother who isn't big on cake had 2 slices because he enjoyed it so much! It was certainly a very dangerous cake as it was far too easy to eat.. can easily eat the entire cake in one sitting if I could haha Thank you for making an incredible cake and being so generous as to take my order at the last minute. Definitely ordering from here again! A+++

Had such a lovely high tea experience! The food was delicious, with a great mix of sweet and savoury treats, and everything was beautifully presented. The tea selection was fantastic. I tried the chamomile + lavender tea and I highly recommend it. The service was amazing. I’ll definitely come back. ✨❤️

We just had a High Tea at DHI - and OMG, what a treat! Every single dish (11 per person, 5 savory and 6 sweet treats!) was lovely presented and absolutely delicious. On top of that bottomless NZ teas and a lovely (and very informative) service ❤️ We would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

A wonderful evening learning to perfect choux pastry with a small, intimate group size, amongst a hive of activity at the Welder. Dhi is a globally recognized culinary expert, yet down to earth and delightful to learn from. Pastry and mousses were exceptional 😋 I'll be back for more classes!
