Natural Beeswax Birthday Candles

Hōhepa candles are made from 100% local beeswax and cotton wicks. Hand crafted in the beautiful Hōhepa Hawke's Bay candle studio. The perfect accompaniment to your special cake on your special day.

Each set of 10 candles are assorted colours.

Founded in the early 1980s in Clive, the Hōhepa Candle Studio has been providing meaningful work opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Hōhepa Creative Works is a unique collaborative space that includes a weavery, candle making studio and a beautiful retail space showcasing a wide range of Hōhepa products.

Never leave burning candles unattended, burn for two hours at a time, keep them away from drafts, and trim the wick to 1cm before lighting.

Dietary and Allergen Advice

While our team takes all necessary steps to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, traces may occur due to our kitchen being small and without ‘exclusive’ production areas for all of our different recipes. It's for this reason that I can't currently meet the needs of people with serious food allergies,
