How many people will each size feed?

When choosing the size of cake, it's hard to say exactly how many people it will feed, but as a general guideline:

Mini Cakes & Desserts

These are intended to provide 1 serving per item

Loaf Cakes

20cm - Provides 8 servings

Bundt Cakes

25cm - Provides 16 servings

Desserts & Tarts

20cm - Provides 10-12 servings

Layer Cakes

15cm - provides 12-15 servings
20cm - provides 20-25 servings
25cm - provides 30-35 servings

Can you write something on the cake?

If it's a layer cake then yes, if you leave a note we can write something short e.g. "Happy Birthday Sam"

If it's a bundt, loaf, dessert, tart or our mini items then no unfortunately there isn't any space.

No Added Dairy/Gluten?

Due to recent NZ food labelling updates, I cannot claim any of my items are 'gluten-free' or 'dairy-free', only that I have not added any gluten or dairy containing ingredients.

While some of our products are made without allergen-containing ingredients, they are produced in a shared kitchen where allergens are present.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee they are safe for individuals with severe allergies.

Can I change something about the cake? e.g. decorations or ingredients

Get in touch with me if you have concerns about a specific item in a cake and we can see if we can accomodate.

We don't make custom cakes so cannot make new recipes for customers, only potentially omit ingredients or make minor changes.

Looking for flowers? - If you're looking for fresh flowers to add to your cake, you can order these from Petal & Co for pickup in Riverside Market.

Can you make me a custom cake?

Apologies but I don't make custom cakes, so cannot create something for you that's not listed on the menu.

Is it ok if we need to store it?

Yes, all of our cakes and desserts can be safely stored in the packaging we give you for 1-3 days without any change in taste or texture.

If you anticipate storing for more than this, it's best to freeze in an airtight container, however note that some of our decorations may crack from being frozen due to the expansion effect of moisture freezing.

Please let them come to room temperature before eating for the best experience.
