Thunder Chocolate Cake Slice

The rich chocolate cake is beautifully balanced in terms of sweetness. The suggested slices may look small-ish on a plate, but they are dense and full of flavour. It is not our first Dhi Ferrari cake, but having been conditioned by other lesser cakes, we tend to cut too large (if there is such a thing) an initial slice every time.

The delicious, decorative chocolate pieces on the side surrounding the cake showcases Dhi's amazing skills. In the right light, shining through the extremely thin, fragile tips, it looks to me like lit candles in the wind.

This is more than a delicious cake; it is an ephemeral work of art.

​I purchased this cake for my mum’s 80th Birthday Party and it was an absolute hit. If you are looking for a chocolate cake that is not too rich, this is for you. Again, my experience with Dhi’s cakes did not disappoint.

​Good cake overall and I liked the chocolate whipping cream in between and the top ganache. The sponge cake however felt a bit dry.
