From indulgent chocolate cakes to elegant red velvets, our birthday cakes not only taste divine but also look stunning, designed to fit any theme or color scheme you have in mind.
We’re also thrilled to provide a wide assortment of decadent desserts beyond the traditional birthday cake.
Our signature cheesecake, for instance, is velvety, rich, and comes in a variety of flavors to suit every sweet tooth.
We also offer bite-sized mini cakes, perfect for those who want to sample multiple flavors or simply prefer a smaller indulgence.

Birthday cake & dessert selection
We have a range of different cakes available for order, these can be ordered with two days notice with pickup from our patisserie in Christchurch. Our Loaf cakes provide 6 servings, Bundt cakes are 8-12 servings and layer cakes are 12-40 servings depending on size.
Mini cakes for parties
Mini Cakes & Desserts for your Birthday
Available to order in individual, sets of 6 or 12, these are a great option for a birthday party where you want to provide variety.
Our most popular flavours are also regularly available at our patisserie if you want to select some on the day of pickup for another cake order.

Trying our cakes
We make cake slice versions of all of our cakes for sale in Christchurch at our Patisserie in the Welder. This is where you'll also find a selection of our mini cake & desserts to try.
For our bundt, loaf and tarts, we don't have these available in store.
Cake Ordering Process
For layer cake, bundt & mini cakes.
The best way is to directly order online, you can select a combination of cakes and leave a note letting us know this is for your special day.
When ordering you select the date/time you will pick up the cakes from our patisserie at The Welder - ideally this is the day before your event to avoid stress for yourself.
For petit four
We create petit four versions of our mini-cakes, so please get in touch to let us know which flavours and quantity so we can price this for you, as we don't have these online for direct ordering. We have minimum order quantities for these as they are specially made.
